Farfetch enters into a strategic partnership with Neiman Marcus

Farfetch has made a $200 million investment in Neiman Marcus Group. This partnership will allow for stronger online presence and a greater collaboration. This investment will help to expand the digital offerings of Neiman Marcus and bring about technological innovations. Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman are also partners with Farfetch’s online market, which combines key luxury brands to increase diversification. The partnership will be complete by the third quarter this year.

Grammy’s Red Carpet: Musicians Make a Statement

The 64th Grammy Awards was a hive of activity with some of the most popular musicians stepping out in spectacular outfits on the red carpet. Olivia Rodrigo was up for the award in a custom black-and-purple Vivienne Westwood gown. Billie Eilish continued to wear Rick Owens, continuing her all-black era. Lady Gaga looked stunning in an Armani Prive black and white Armani Prive dress with a sweeping cape, and asymmetrical silhouette. Lil Nas X wore a Balmain custom baroque pearl-encrusted suit set. Olivier Rousteing stated that Lil Nas X was an inspiration for the next generation. He is clearly pushing the boundaries in fashion and music.

Doja Cat wore a Versace dress and Atelier Versace corset throughout the event. The crystal-embroidered sheer gown was by Versace. The 1962 Marilyn Monroe “Happy Birthday Mr. President” gown was a major inspiration for designers. Dua Lipa was seen wearing a black and gold Gianni Versace gown from 1992 in a throwback moment. It was taken from the Miss S&M’ collection.

Skims Taps ’90s Supermodels for Campaign

SKIMS, Kim Kardashian’s clothing line, has channeled nostalgia in its latest campaign. The nude undergarments were shot by Greg Swales and Dandy Kim. The collection is inspired by the Victoria’s Secret era and aims to highlight the ‘Everybody’ collection. Kardashian said, “It’s a great moment to be able to fit these amazing women in our Fits Everybody Underwear Collection.”

The Folklore Fund Raised $1.7 Million

The Folklore is a leading fashion company that promotes African designers. Slauson & Co. led a $1.7 million round. The Folklore Connect will be launched with this investment. It allows African designers to connect directly with global retailers. Ajay Relan (Managing Director at Slauson & Co.) said, “The world is starting to wake up to Africa’s untapped talent.”
