Headbands are the Best Hair Accessories
27.12.2021We all love hair accessories. They can be used to enhance any hairstyle. This is what we mean. If our hair looks drab, we just slip a hair accessory in it. And we are out the door in 5 minutes. We are always adding to our hair accessory collection. You never know when you’ll need some extra help.
The simple headband is our favorite hair accessory. Although it is often associated with the preppy look of the Upper East Side, it can be worn in many styles. It’s the look for supermodel hair lovers, red carpet replicators and people with short hair and braids. We have a proof. Scroll down to see 12 top headband hairstyles from celebrities, influencers, and hairstylists.
Did you know that there was a style of headband for supermodel hair in the ’90s? This is it. To accent a full-length hairstyle, all you need is a black, thin headband. A black blazer or gold hoops is not necessary but they are highly recommended.
One picture was posted by Kendall Jenner in 2019. It was instantly saved to our Instagram Saved Photos. Bella Hadid’s wide headband is a great choice. We love the way it pulls back her long hairs. We think the key to this look is the undone texture.
Ariana Grande can transform a basic headband into something glamorous and 60s-inspired. We recommend this style for those who want volume and bounce.
The other look is for loyal Blair Waldorf supporters. You can simply place a traditional headband over shiny barrel curls. You shouldn’t fix what’s broken.
Accessory shows that a sleek hairstyle can be achieved by combining a thick ponytail with a thin, zero-space headband. Great headband is the Lelet NY Vera Crystal Headband.
Is a hair scarf considered a headband? We believe so. Elsa Hosk shows off a modernized, 60-inspired look using her multicolored hair scarf. For a similar look, spray a product such as the Amika Un.Done Volume or Matte Texture Spray ($25), through your mid-lengths, and ends.
Gabrielle Union-Wade wore this famous headband hairstyle in Paris. We love a simple hairstyle, but there is something we like about a maximalist look.
Justine Marjan, hairdresser, posted this stunning example of her work. It was completed with a ruffled ribbon-like hat. We love the contrast of the bold accessory and the simple low ponytail.
Ashley Graham’s look is another example of how simple headband hairstyles can be. This look can be replicated by putting your hair in a low bun, and then adding a jewelled headband. This look is simple but striking.
This red carpet look by Hailey Bieber is hard to forget. The perfect look includes the eyeliner, gold hoops and black headband.
Jessica Alba shows us another example for a red carpet-appropriate hairband. Like Gabrielle Union-Wade, hers is bold and pearl-encrusted. We’re obsessed.
Rowan Blanchard provided the last example. The chic pixie cut is complemented by a velvet padded headband. It’s one of our favorites types of headbands.
