• Neon

As seen on the runway of SS22 Oscar De La Renta, neon is still a popular color in makeup. There are many ways to apply neon eyeshadow. For example, Dalal Al-Doub (a Kuwaiti influencer) chose a chunky-looking neon cat-eyes liner. You can apply one neon shade, or you can mix and match as many colors as you like, and blend them.

• Over the Top Eyeliner

This summer, instead of defining your eyelashes with eyeliner, the eyeliner will be applied in an arch-shape to the eyes. Russo and Anna Sui were among the Versace SS22 show attendees. Fatima Al-Momen from Kuwait, a beauty expert, joined the trend and created the arch eyeliner for the perfect cat eyes.

• Blush for your eyes

You don’t have to blush your cheeks, but you can also reach your eyes with a blusher. As seen on Jason Wu’s runway and Sies Marjan’s SS22 runway, this makeup trend will require you to use a blusher for blushing as well as eyeshadow.

• Sapphire blue

If given the choice of one eyeshadow trend, the sapphire is the most popular. This was spotted at the LaQuan Smith SS22 Show. This trend has been copied by many MUAs and beauty blogs. Shouq Al-Hadi, a Kuwaiti actress, demonstrates it.

• Bold lips

Bold lips is also a popular trend in SS22. They were seen on Dries Van Noten’s runway in dark colors as well as rare colors. You can opt for bold shades of pink or red if you don’t like dark lips.
