10 Alcohol-free Cocktails to Sink this Christmas

There are many benefits to celebrating the holidays without alcohol. The best is freshening up as a daisy on Boxing Day or Christmas Day, and enjoying the satisfaction of making responsible, good choices.

Mocktails and zero alcohol spirits are big right now, so you’ll be able to fill your cup literally and metaphorically. These alcohol-free cocktails are great for anyone who is teetotal throughout the year, pregnant, or just enjoying the holidays.

This is a great time to be sober and curious. With this drink menu, December 25th will not be dull. We look forward to seeing you at the bar.

Jolly White Russian

You can relax with this classic and your favorite Hallmark movie, and you will be able to sleep peacefully knowing that it didn’t ruin the family portrait.

Split the crushed ice into 4 glasses and place the rest in a cocktail shaker. The coffee syrup and milk should be added to the shaker. Give it a gentle shake. Add the contents to your glasses. Garnish and start to sink.

Ingredients:

  • Ice Cubes (10 crushed)
  • Coffee syrup
  • Arla B.O.B milk
  • Shaved Milk Chocolate
  • For garnish, cinnamon stick

Apple Highball

Beer fear is not a problem here. You can get through the day with no shame by using other ingredients.

Mix 60ml Garden 108, 30ml apple juice unfiltered, 15ml lemon juice, and 15ml maple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Mix well and strain into a highball glass. Add soda, fresh ice, and an apple fan garnish.

Espresso MartiNO

This is the perfect drink for those who love espresso.

Simply add 60ml Seedlip Spice 94, 50ml cold brew concentrate and 15ml sugar syrup in a shaker. Add ice to shake. To make your no-liquor coffee piece de resistance taste and look real, garnish with fresh coffee beans

Sober Santa Christmas Punch

This holiday punch can be served with a large bowl and a ladle for guests to enjoy. Mix 2 cups of cranberry juice with 1 cup OJ and 1 Cup of pineapple juice in a punch bowl. Give it a stir. For a festive touch, add 2 cups sparkling apple juice/apple cider to the mixture. For garnish, add fresh orange slices, pomegranate seed or cherry pieces and lots of ice.

The JOMO Joy of Mulling Out

This traditional holiday tipple is easy to make without alcohol. Grab a bottle non-alcoholic Merlot, pomegranate juice, and cranberry juice, plus orange slices, cloves and cinnamon sticks. You will also need 2 cups of water if you choose the juice option.

You can make this a lazy gal recipe by putting it in the slow cooker. While you wrap Christmas presents, cook it on low for 1.5hrs. Once it’s all done, your home will smell like Homesense. Enjoy the joy of mulling! You are not missing anything!

Spice Ingredients:

  • 8 cloves
  • 3 star anise
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick

PS: If you prefer to cook on the stove, heat your mulled mixture on a low heat. Once it has boiled, steam it for 30 minutes, and then strain.

CosNO-politan

Christmas with the sauce has never been more festive. Mix all ingredients together in a shaker. Strain and pour into a coupe glass. Add orange zest to the mix and enjoy every last drop.

Ingredients:

  • Lyre’s Pink London Gin 45ml
  • 15ml Lyre’s Orange Section
  • 15ml of lime juice
  • 30ml Cranberry juice
  • Strawberry syrup, 7.5ml
  • Optional lemon twist

Everleaf Vanilla Sour

This vanilla sour will make your December extra rich and decadent. Mix all ingredients in a shaker. Strain into a glass, garnish with edible flowers or lemon twist.

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Everleaf FOREST
  • 25ml fresh Lemon Juice
  • 15ml vanilla syrup
  • 15ml aquafaba/egg white

The Merry Mojito Doppelganger

To make a brighter and more complex version of the classic minty mojito add 50ml Everleaf MOUNTAIN and 25ml fresh lime juice to a highball glass. Stir until honey is dissolved. Add crushed ice to the glass and stir with a cocktail stick. Add a garnish of fresh mint to your glass and you can enjoy it. Aesthetically-pleasing, festive, thirst-quenching but most importantly, a friend to all (foreheads).

Let It Snow (Ball)

This indulgent, non-alcoholic version of the Snowball will ensure that the designated driver is not an afterthought.

Heat sugar and water together until sugar dissolves. Let cool, then pour into a jar. Allow the mincemeat to infuse for at least a night. Strain the mixture, and then reserve the syrup. Mix the syrup with the remaining ingredients until it is smooth and creamy. Dust the syrup with cinnamon, and serve in glasses. Garnish with redcurrants. Add cinnamon sugar to the rim of your glasses for extra points. Cin-cin!

Snowball:

  • 300ml vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 100ml lemon juice
  • 500ml diet lemonade
  • Redcurrants 60g

Syrup

  • 10g mincemeat
  • 25g sugar
  • 25ml water

Zero Proof Bellini

This zero proof cocktail is a prosecco-based cocktail made virgin. It has enough fire in it that it will be difficult to distinguish from its boozy counterpart.

Add 25ml of peach puree to a chilled champagne flute. For a luxurious champagne-style bubble, add London Essence White Peach or Jasmine Crafted Soda. Leave enough room to curl some lemon zest. We want Soft Seltzer Christmas.
