Four Summer Style Essentials
29.06.2022I did some back-to-work shopping and was thrilled to find great pieces to update my outdated and ill-fitting wardrobe. Although I am not in the best shape of my life yet, I am happy with what I have found and plan to add more to my wardrobe.
Here are four styles that inspire me in my summer shopping. Which one do you prefer?
1. High-Waisted Self Tie Pants (a.k.a. Paper-Bag Pants)
These pants are so summery that you can’t throw stones without running into someone in them. These high-waisted pants were my favorite purchase from back to work. I bought three pairs and will be buying more.
They are feminine and chic, but also super comfy – just like pajamas, but more appropriate for the office.
These pants are great for anyone, but I think they’re especially good for new moms looking for comfortable pants that fit well and are slimming.
2. Jumpsuits and Rompers
Jumpsuits were a popular trend a few years ago. I fell in love with them immediately. It’s a very comfortable option that can be worn up or down for any occasion.
The romper, if you feel confident enough to wear it, is the flirty version of the jumpsuit. One day, I might have the guts to buy one.
3. Off-The-Shoulder tops
These tops are my favorite, and I’m looking forward to getting one. These tops, while a bit risky for the office are perfect for summer barbecues or nights out.
The long-sleeve version is my favorite, as I hate to show my upper arms (my Keratosis pilaris bumps currently are in full swing).
The majority of off-the-shoulder styles can also be worn loosely, so there’s no need to worry about unwanted bits.
4. Straw & Handbags made of bamboo
The straw handbag is a great option. This bag is a more casual option and can be used for casual lunches or day at the beach. This timeless bag is always in style.
The bamboo handbag, which is a more fashionable version of the straw tote, is a hot summer accessory.
These bags are simple and stylish, but you have to be careful what you put inside, due to the transparent aspect.
I want to add a bamboo bag to my collection but I don’t know how often. I tend to carry a lot of stuff (as you can see by my handbag essentials)
