Although it didn’t have any posts or was not following anyone, the account gained thousands of followers quickly as fans eagerly awaited more information about the line. We finally have a glimpse of what lies ahead, several months later. The brand and Grande began to tease the launch in September. R.E.M. posted a behind-the scenes picture of Grande on October 10. Beauty shared a behind-the scenes photo of Grande wearing a glittery purple-hued make-up look, which got fans (aka us!) extremely excited.
Although product details are still being kept under wraps, the highly anticipated beauty line has confirmed that it will be available in the fall. REM refers to a stage in sleep. It is when a person can wake up easily. Grande seems to love this idea, as R.E.M. Grande is consistent with her current perfume line and one single from her 2018 album Sweetener. She sings in her sleep about meeting the boy she dreams of. The beauty website R.E.M. is minimalist. R.E.M. Beauty is coming to you in “chapters”
The R.E.M. Grande revealed that beauty products will be released in a series, in an interview with Allure. R.E.M. Beauty posted recently a photo of virtual folders, titled Chapters one to four on its social media pages and suggested that chapter one — “ultraviolet” — will be coming soon.
Grande is seen in promotional photos for chapter 1. She sports a 1960s-inspired, dewy look. The line’s visuals are likely to evoke an intergalactic look. Grande said that she was inspired by the glamour of the ’50s, ’60s, and space-inspired aesthetics when creating the brand. According to Allure, the first drop will be primarily focused on the eyes. It will include fine-point eyeliners, liquid matte shadows, glittering toppers and at least one mascara. There will also be lipsticks and lip-plumping glosses.
Forma Brands, a beauty incubator, is said to have licensed the line. Forma Brands is known for supporting other celebrity-led beauty brands like Emma Chamberlain’s Bad Habit line and Morphe 2 from TikTok stars Charli D’Amelio.
Grande doesn’t seem to be intimidated by the celebrity beauty club
Celebrity-founded beauty brands are gaining popularity. Ariana Grande will join a host of celebs like Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kim Kardashian, who have used their celebrity to create skincare and makeup products. Grande insists that even though she is in a saturated market, one cannot have too much makeup.
