Tips to Prevent Crow’s Feet

1. Sunscreen

You should be careful to protect your skin from the sun’s UV rays as they are one of the main causes of skin ageing. This will reduce the appearance of photoaging-related crow’s feet. Before you step out in the sun, use a sunscreen that has SPF 30 or higher and protect your eyes with sunglasses and hats.

2. Keep hydrated

Your skin’s health is important. Dry skin can cause wrinkles and lead to loss of elasticity. To prevent crow’s feet, drink plenty of water and use moisturisers that contain antioxidants and collagen to your skin.

3. Facial exercises

Facial exercises are a simple way to strengthen your eye muscles, prevent skin sagging, and reduce the appearance of crow’s feet. These two exercises can be used to strengthen your eye muscles:

  1. Place your middle and index fingers on your eyebrow. Lift your eyebrows up and gently push the skin down with your fingers. Repeat this process six times, for a total of 10 repetitions.
  2. Lift the skin above your cheekbones and make a big “O” with your open lips. Hold the skin for a few seconds. Repeat the process 10 times.

4. You can sleep correct

Poor sleeping habits can cause wrinkles to deepen. To minimize the effects of the fabric on delicate skin, choose gentler fabrics like silk for pillows.

5. Change your lifestyle

Lifestyle changes can also make a big difference. To prolong your skin’s youthfulness, eat a healthy diet and get enough sleep.

6. Do not smoke

Avoid smoking, as it causes dehydration which can lead to wrinkles.

Are Crow’s Feet able to make your face more attractive?

Psychologists believe that having crow’s feet on the face can make you look older and wiser, with a long life. Crow’s feet can be associated with the many emotions that we express through our faces, so subconsciously, they are often associated with a happy, expressive, and warm personality.

While it’s okay to feel like the wrinkles and lines on your face aren’t kind, they can make you seem more approachable and reliable to others.

There is a difference between fine lines and crow’s feet

The first signs of skin aging are fine lines that appear in delicate areas of the face. Crow’s feet, on the contrary, are deeper and more prominent wrinkles that develop over time. If treated early, fine lines are easier to manage and require less maintenance. If left untreated, fine lines can become deeper and eventually lead to crow’s feet.
