A cheerful yellow color can brighten up your day. You can start with a simple dress, or go bold with monochromatic looks like Jil Sander’s button down top and trousers. You can use the bold color to jump-start your saturation if you are not a fan of complete saturation. It works well with pastels such as lilac and earthy taupes, which are slightly muted.

Grant says that while dresses are a good option for summer, suiting can be a great alternative. It provides the same look from head to toe but with a modern twist.
